ca. March 1829 Created from the southwestern part of Shenango Twp.1
Boundaries:  Beginning at S. W. corner of [N. Shenango Twp.]; thence S. with the Ohio line to Mercer county line; thence east with said line to S. E. corner of tract surveyed to John Mason; thence north to the N. E. corner of tract returned to William Lane; thence west by north line of said tract to the [place of] beginning.
15 April 1851 Portion incorporated as the borough of Turnersville [q.v.]
20 April 1853 Portion annexed to the borough of Jamestown, Mercer County [q.v.]
17 Feb. 1860 Northeastern part lost to West Fallowfield Twp. [q.v.]
14 Aug. 1863 Western part lost to West Shenango Twp. [q.v.]
